To enhance your account security, CAEX recommends following these best practices:
1. Account Security
- Use a strong password that includes a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Use this password exclusively for your CAEX account and avoid reusing it for other services.
- Enable Two-factor Authentication (2FA), preferably with Google Authenticator (GA) or Passkey.
- Use only email addresses and phone numbers that you own and control.
2. Email and Phone Number Security
- Protect your email with a strong password and enable Two-factor Authentication (2FA).
- Avoid clicking suspicious links on your phone or in emails from unknown or untrusted senders.
- Never share your OTPs or grant others access to your email account or CAEX account.
3. Device and Connection Security
- Sign in only on Trusted Devices and through the official CAEX website or mobile app.
- Avoid using public Wi-Fi when accessing your account.
- Keep your operating system up to date and remove Trusted Devices that you no longer use.
4. Additional Security Features
- Anti-Phishing Code: Helps you identify legitimate emails from CAEX.
- Trusted Device Management: Allows you to view and remove devices that have signed in to your account, helping prevent unauthorized access.
