Do I need to hold Crypto Assets before making Fiat Deposit (VND)?

For Vietnamese Individual Clients, under the regulations governing the Crypto Assets market pilot program, you must own Crypto to open an account. Therefore, after completing Account Verification (KYC), you must complete your first Crypto Deposit to activate the Fiat Deposit feature. Once the feature is activated, you are not required to continue holding Crypto to use this feature.

 

For Non-Vietnamese Individual Clients, you are not required to make a first Crypto Deposit before using the Fiat Deposit feature. However, you must complete Account Verification (KYC) and have a valid Dedicated Account in accordance with CAEX's requirements before using the service.
