Depositing Crypto Assets means transferring assets from another wallet or platform into your CAEX account. Unlike bank transfers, blockchain transactions cannot be canceled or reversed. This article helps you do it correctly from the first time.
Notes before depositing:
- Only deposit assets from wallets owned by you or accounts registered under your name.
- When depositing from a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP), ensure that the registered name at the VASP matches the name verified by KYC at CAEX, and that the VASP is on the list supported by CAEX.
- When depositing from a personal wallet, CAEX may require you to sign a message to verify wallet ownership.
- Before confirming the transaction, carefully check the asset, network, receiving address, and tag/memo (if any). Incorrect selections can lead to asset loss and cannot be recovered.
- Deposits from third parties or unsupported VASPs may be rejected and refunded. CAEX will never ask you to provide private keys, recovery phrases, or wallet passwords.
