Besides registering with a phone number, you can sign up for CAEX using an existing Google or Apple account. This makes signing in faster next time. You can also create the account first and complete identity verification later.
Before you start
- Your phone is already signed in to a Google or Apple account
- An active phone number to receive the OTP
- Your ID document, if you want to complete KYC right away
Part 1: Sign up with Google or Apple
Step 1: Choose the sign-up method
Open the CAEX app and tap Sign Up. On the registration screen, choose Continue with Google or Continue with Apple instead of entering a phone number.
Step 2: Grant permission to CAEX
You are taken to the Google or Apple sign-in page. Select the account you want to use and confirm that CAEX may access your email and name.
Once you grant permission, you return to the CAEX app.
Step 3: Enter and verify your phone number
Enter the phone number you use. If you have a referral code, enter it in the field. Complete the slide puzzle CAPTCHA, then enter the OTP sent by SMS.
Step 4: Create a password
Set a password for your CAEX account. You use this password when signing in by phone number, alongside signing in with Google or Apple.
Part 2: If the email is already linked to a CAEX account
If the Google or Apple email you chose has already been used for a CAEX account, the system recognises it and asks whether you want to link it, rather than creating a new account.
Step 1: Choose to link the account
When the screen shows that the email is already linked to a CAEX account, choose Link account to connect the Google or Apple sign-in to your existing account.
Step 2: Confirm ownership with an OTP
Enter the OTP sent to the account's phone number to confirm you are the account owner.
Part 3: Complete Identity Verification Now or Later
After creating your account, you can choose to complete Identity Verification immediately or return to it later. Before completing Identity Verification (KYC), you can still access the CAEX app to explore its interface and view the information made available by CAEX.
Deposit, buy and sell, trading, and withdrawal features will become available only after you have completed KYC and met the applicable requirements.

Some features may be restricted due to your account status, security requirements, or compliance reviews. The CAEX app will display the features available to your account and provide the relevant instructions.
How can I complete KYC later?
Sign in to the CAEX app and select the account verification prompt displayed on the screen. If you do not see the prompt, go to Account/Profile and select Identity Verification.
Depending on your nationality and selected verification method, you may be asked to capture images of your identity document, complete facial verification, scan the chip on your Citizen ID card using NFC, authenticate through VNeID, or provide additional information and supporting documents.
