Besides registering with a phone number, you can sign up for CAEX using an existing Google or Apple account. This makes signing in faster next time. You can also create the account first and complete identity verification later.
Before you start
• Your phone is already signed in to a Google or Apple account
• An active phone number to receive the OTP
• Your ID document, if you want to complete KYC right away
Part 1: Sign up with Google or Apple
Step 1: Choose the sign-up method
Open the CAEX app and tap Sign Up. On the registration screen, choose Continue with Google or Continue with Apple instead of entering a phone number.
Step 2: Grant permission to CAEX
You are taken to the Google or Apple sign-in page. Select the account you want to use and confirm that CAEX may access your email and name.
Once you grant permission, you return to the CAEX app.
Step 3: Enter and verify your phone number
Enter the phone number you use. If you have a referral code, enter it in the field. Complete the slide puzzle CAPTCHA, then enter the OTP sent by SMS.
Step 4: Create a password
Set a password for your CAEX account. You use this password when signing in by phone number, alongside signing in with Google or Apple.
Part 2: If the email is already linked to a CAEX account
If the Google or Apple email you chose has already been used for a CAEX account, the system recognises it and asks whether you want to link it, rather than creating a new account.
Step 1: Choose to link the account
When the screen shows that the email is already linked to a CAEX account, choose Link account to connect the Google or Apple sign-in to your existing account.
Step 2: Confirm ownership with an OTP
Enter the OTP sent to the account's phone number to confirm you are the account owner.
Part 3: Verify now or later
After creating your account, you are not required to verify your identity immediately. However, some features only open after KYC is complete.

How to complete KYC later
When you want to verify your identity, open the account or settings section and select identity verification. The process is the same as at registration: photograph your ID card, verify your face, cross-check via VNeID or NFC, and provide additional information.
