Your order may not be filled immediately for one of the following reasons:
For Limit Orders: A Limit Order is only executed when the market price reaches the price you specified. If the market price has not reached your specified price, the order will remain pending.
For both Limit Orders and Market Orders:
- Insufficient market liquidity: Even if your order is eligible for execution, there may not be enough matching buy or sell orders at the requested price or quantity. As a result, your order may be partially filled or experience a delay.
- Market volatility: During periods of high market volatility, order execution may take longer as prices change rapidly.
You can check your order status in Open Orders. Any unfilled Limit Orders will remain pending until they are either filled or canceled.
