What documents are accepted as Proof of Address (POA)?

To verify your address, you may provide one of the following documents, provided it clearly shows your full name, residential address, and the issuing organization's name or logo, and meets the applicable validity requirements.

 

1. Confirmation of Residence Information (CT07 Form)

- Issued within the last 12 months.

- Original or a certified true copy is accepted.

 

2. Utility Bill

- Issued within the last 3 months.

- Accepted documents include electricity, water, landline telephone, fixed internet, and cable TV bills.

- Electronic mobile phone bills are not accepted.

 

3. Apartment Management Fee Invoice, Residence Confirmation, or Apartment Lease Agreement

- Issued within the last 3 months.

- Must include the issuing organization's name or logo.

 

4. Documents Issued by a Financial Institution

- Issued within the last 6 months.

- Accepted documents include bank account statements, credit card statements, certificates of deposit, and confirmation letters issued by a bank or insurance company.

- Deposit slips and withdrawal slips are not accepted.

 

5. Residential Lease Agreement

- Must be valid at the time of submission.

- Must be notarized or signed/stamped by both the landlord and the tenant.

 

6. Employment Contract

- Must be valid at the time of submission.

- Must clearly state your residential address.

- Must be signed and/or stamped by both the employer and the employee.

 

7. Temporary Residence Card (TRC) or Permanent Residence Card (PRC)

- Must be valid at the time of submission.

- Applicable only to foreign residents living in Vietnam.

 

If your submitted document does not meet the above requirements or is outside the permitted issuance period, CAEX may request an alternative POA document to complete the verification process.
